Blue Box Collector

We are looking for volunteer Blue Box collectors to join our team. You will be building relationships with local businesses and supporters out and about in your local community whilst supporting your Hospice just a few hours a month.

Our Blue Boxes are Mary Stevens Hospice Collection Boxes that you see near till points across the Borough for donations. They are situated in various local businesses and are a way in which vital funds are raised for the Hospice. With so many Blue Boxes out and about in the area, we are looking for volunteers to help us collect them and distribute new boxes.

Kitchen Assistant: Bank

Join the Catering Team as a Kitchen Assistant to undertake general kitchen duties within the Hospice and support the delivery of high-quality individualized meals to meet patients’ specific nutritional requirements.

To undertake the required cleaning duties that form part of the Hospice infection control standards and to create a clean environment for patients, relatives, visitors and employees that use the services.

Shop Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced store manager to join us as we serve the caring community of Kingswinford.

Our stores hold a variety of stock including fashion, bric-a-brac and furniture making this a great opportunity for anyone that has a passion for preloved items.

As a manager your will:

· Maintain great standards to give our customers and donors an excellent shopping experience promoting equality, diversity and inclusion.

· You will create strong merchandising displays for the shop.

· You should have experience in the day to day management of a shop including stock management, merchandising, health and safety and financial procedures.

· Manage a team of volunteers and promote volunteer recruitment opportunities.

· Maintain good relations with the general public, our retail logistics team as well as colleagues from across the whole hospice.

· This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys retail and working in a lively, fast paced environment  You will need to have enthusiasm, leadership and motivational skills, be customer oriented and enjoy working with a diverse range of products and people.
