Blue Box Collector

We are looking for volunteer Blue Box collectors to join our team. You will be building relationships with local businesses and supporters out and about in your local community whilst supporting your Hospice just a few hours a month.

Our Blue Boxes are Mary Stevens Hospice Collection Boxes that you see near till points across the Borough for donations. They are situated in various local businesses and are a way in which vital funds are raised for the Hospice. With so many Blue Boxes out and about in the area, we are looking for volunteers to help us collect them and distribute new boxes.

Full time and Part-time Van Driver/Warehouse Team Member

We have an exciting opportunity for two drivers to join our Logistics Team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering donations to our shops, knowing that you are helping to provide much-needed funds for The Mary Stevens Hospice. By working with us, you will support the outstanding care and support we provide every day to our patients, their families and those they care for.

Please note for insurance purposes you need to be over 21, with a clean licence that allows you to drive a 3.5-ton van.

We are looking for individuals with great customer service, who are confident and can work with initiative. If you like a varied role, where every day is different, and you are motivated by helping an important cause, then you may be just the perfect fit for our team.

Children’s and Young People Bereavement Support Coordinator

An exciting and rare opportunity has arisen for a motivated and highly organised individual to join the Patient and Family Support Team as a Childrens and Young People Bereavement Support Coordinator. The role focuses on the support of bereavement children through a range of one-to-one sessions, creative interventions, and specialised grief activities. 

Applications must have experience in working with children and families or have a recognised child health, education, or social care qualification.

Contract Permanent – 30 hours per week.

Salary £23,100 FTE (actual for 30 hours – £18,480).
