Care at Home

The Dudley Macmillan Specialist Care at Home Service provides integrated, specialist care for patients at home, or another preferred place, amongst the 312,000 people in Dudley Metropolitan Borough.

The service is provided in partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support, NHS Dudley Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) and Dudley NHS Foundation Trust.

The partnership aims to achieve a single point of access for patients, enable earlier referral to services, help prevent unplanned hospital admissions, and facilitate early crisis intervention. Part of the hospice’s role is to recruit and train a group of volunteer carers to work with patients out in the community.
