We were approached a few weeks ago by a fantastic organisation called Nicest Jobs.
What Nicest Jobs do is to pair up great people with wonderful places to work, and we hope you don’t mind us saying that we’d like to think we fit that category.
So they came down on a Monday morning, to see what life is like here at the Hospice and capture us just going about our daily lives.
It’s fair to say that they left with the biggest smile on their face, and we’re delighted with the video that they’ve created for us.
It’s fair to say that sometimes the word “Hospice” can conjure up images that many people would rather not think about, when the reality is that this place is arguably the happiest, most vibrant and most positive atmosphere you could ever be a part of.
If you’re interested in volunteering with the Hospice then please contact Laura on 01384 377 778, email firstname.lastname@example.org or submit an application through our page on the Nicest Jobs platform which you’ll find by clicking here.
They only accept video applications, giving you the opportunity to express yourself as much as you’d like to, rather than putting trust in the way your CV will come across.
Equally, please don’t worry too much about prior experience and qualifications. There is something for everyone to do here, and a great attitude and willingness to help is far more important to us than anything else.
Thank you again to the guys from Nicest Jobs, and we hope you all enjoy the video!
