Bereavement Hub

Bereavement Hub website hero

The Bereavement Hub exists to support those who are grieving, it provides them with the opportunity to talk to people who may understand how they are feeling because they have been through a similar experience.

Each session is free to attend and will focus on a different part of the grief journey.

There are 6 sessions; the topics we cover are:

Session 1: Understanding grief and bereavement

Session 2: Explore where we are, my journey

Session 3: Accessing support

Session 4: Taking care of yourself

Session 5: Engaging your creativity

Session 6: Relaxation and visualisation

The invitation to come along to our Bereavement Hub is extended to anyone in and around the Dudley Borough and you do not need to have a connection with the Hospice.

These are some quotes from people who we have welcomed to previous sessions:

“Just being able to speak to people who understand my pain has been a big comfort.”

“Being in an environment where I do not feel the odd one out has been so helpful.”

Our Stourbridge Hub runs on the last Wednesday of every month, and our Halesowen Hub runs on the third Thursday of every month.

During each session, we will focus on a different part of the grief journey and explore your thoughts and feelings surrounding grief. One of the ways we do this is through art, please see the pictures below for an insight into what happens in our Bereavement Hub sessions.
