A rainbow for Mary Stevens Hospice

A Rainbow for Mary Stevens Hospice

Recently, we have admired the abundance of Rainbow drawings adorning windows in our local community. Some of these are hand-drawn, some are painted, some are stickers, but whichever medium these rainbows  have been created in, each and every one of them makes us smile. We think of the time and care that has gone into these Rainbows, providing a small escape from the normalities of daily life and giving children all over the community the chance to show their gratitude for the key workers that are working tirelessly day in, day out.

With this in mind, we invited children to draw “A rainbow for Mary Stevens Hospice”. These drawings were to include our Mary Stevens Hospice logo and something to represent our core values of “Care, Compassion, Kindness”, which we hold very dear to us, especially during these challenging times.

We are delighted to say that we received plenty of submissions, which in turn gave us the opportunity to take some time out of our day to admire them all and we have to say we were amazed by the talent that we saw. It is obvious that time and care went in to these submissions and in turn, positivity shone through each image, which provided us all a very welcomed smile.   These submissions came in many forms, from drawings to key rings, the range of imagination is truly astonishing.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone that submitted to our competition, the time and effort that you have all put in to your submissions is really lovely for us to see. Finally, we hope that you have enjoyed looking at some of our submissions and it has given you a smile as much as it did us.

Stay safe. Thank you for supporting Mary Stevens Hospice.
