Shop Manager – Sedgley

28 hours per week over 4 days

As Shop Manager, you will be responsible for the full day-to-day operation of the shop, ensuring it runs smoothly, efficiently, and in line with organisational standards. This includes leading and motivating a team of volunteers, managing rotas, and providing hands-on support where needed to maintain excellent customer service and shop presentation.

You will take ownership of all aspects of shop management, including stock control, merchandising, and creating a positive, supportive working environment for the volunteer team.

Bereavement Counsellor (12 month fixed term)

We are looking for a person to provide high-quality, person-centred pre-bereavement and bereavement support to patients, families, carers, and occasionally children and young people affected by life-limiting illness and death. 

This role includes therapeutic assessment, counselling interventions, risk management, group work, and collaborative work with multidisciplinary teams to enhance the emotional wellbeing and resilience of those receiving hospice care whilst upholding our hospice values of care, compassion and kindness. 

The closing date is Wednesday 17th December 2025.

Bank Staff – Furniture Shops

This position will provide cover for the shops as and when required. Hence full-time hours may be necessary when managers are away on annual leave or sick leave.

In the absence of the shop manager, this role is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the shop, through effective management of self and the volunteer team.

Blue Box Collector

We are looking for volunteer Blue Box collectors to join our team. You will be building relationships with local businesses and supporters out and about in your local community whilst supporting your Hospice just a few hours a month.

Our Blue Boxes are Mary Stevens Hospice Collection Boxes that you see near till points across the Borough for donations. They are situated in various local businesses and are a way in which vital funds are raised for the Hospice. With so many Blue Boxes out and about in the area, we are looking for volunteers to help us collect them and distribute new boxes.
