Sign up to our newsletterMade possible thanks to National Lottery players, this funding means we can carry on offering patients accessing our services the chance to take part in a wide range of creative activities. Our Creative Wellbeing group runs twice a week within our Day Service Unit, giving patients the opportunity to explore painting, pottery, woodwork and other creative pursuits. The sessions are designed to support wellbeing, reduce feelings of isolation, and provide a welcoming space where people can connect with others who share similar experiences.
The funding will also support wellbeing sessions for our staff and volunteers, recognising the important role they play in delivering specialist palliative care and ensuring they too have opportunities to look after their own wellbeing.
