When you choose to support The Mary Stevens Hospice, you’re not only helping us provide care today, you’re helping us protect the future of the hospice, ensuring that people in our community will always have somewhere to turn when they need it most.
Hospice trustee Brian Blakemore did the honours of cutting the ribbon to officially open the shop on Friday 14th August, while manager Emma and assistant manager Liam welcomed eager customers inside for a browse.
The opening at 52 Louise Street in Lower Gornal took our total number of shops up to 17, with other locations including Stourbridge, Dudley, Kinver and Kingswinford.
We’d like to send special thanks to Dave, Sas and Tracy from Dark Side of the Moon Tattoos for our wonderful opening balloons, and with the heatwave in full swing we owe a big thank you to Kirsty and the team at Mad Hatters Cafe and Robbie's Mini Market for keeping the team hydrated while work on the shop was completed!
