Gift aid your donation

Make your donation go further - at no extra cost

Gift Aid is a simple way to make the money you raise or donate go further. It’s a Government scheme that allows charities like The Mary Stevens Hospice to claim the basic rate of tax on every pound you give. This means that for every £1 you donate, we can claim an extra 25p, helping your generosity reach even more people in need of hospice care.

Your kindness, worth even more

When you add Gift Aid to your donation, it means your support can have an even greater impact, without costing you a penny more. So, if you donated £100, it would be worth £125 to us. That extra 25% helps us provide free, specialist care to people and families across our community.

How Gift Aid works

Gift Aid is open to all UK taxpayers and makes every donation worth 25% more, turning your kindness into even greater care.

How to add Gift Aid

If you’re donating online, simply tick the Gift Aid box on our donation form. For other donations, you can download and complete our Gift Aid declaration form, then return it to us by post or email.

Eligibility

To use Gift Aid, you must be a UK taxpayer and have paid at least as much in income or capital gains tax in that tax year as the amount of Gift Aid claimed on your donations.

Changing your details

If your name, address or tax status changes, please let us know so we can keep your Gift Aid record up to date and continue claiming on your donations.

Why it matters

Every tick, every form, every extra 25p helps fund more care, more compassion and more moments of comfort for people across Dudley and the surrounding areas.
