Every item you give helps someone we care for

Your donations make an incredible difference. When you drop off a bag of pre-loved clothes, books, or household items, you’re not just clearing space - you’re helping us provide specialist care. 

Donations really matter

Each donation tells a story. A coat that once kept you warm might bring comfort to someone else, and the money raised from its sale could help fund a nurse’s care, a counselling session, or a quiet moment of peace for someone at our hospice. However small it seems, every item adds up to something extraordinary.

Donating to The Mary Stevens Hospice shops is easy and rewarding. Whether you’re clearing out a wardrobe, redecorating, or simply giving something a second life, your generosity helps fund vital hospice services.

What can I donate?

We gratefully accept good-quality clothing, accessories, shoes, books, homeware, toys, and small electrical items.

Larger furniture donations can be arranged through our free furniture collection service.

Where can I donate my items?

You can drop off donations at any of our high street shops during opening hours. If you’re donating furniture or a large quantity of items, please call ahead so we can prepare to receive them. All of our shop locations and contact details can be found on this page.

We also have a donation bin for clothes outside of our Day Services Unit. 

Do you offer a collection service?

Yes! We offer a free furniture collection service for larger items. Visit our free furniture collection page for more details.
