We are proud to introduce our Whispers in the Wind post-box which is available in the hospice grounds and complements our Wind Phone as an accessible and alternative approach for people experiencing loss and grief.
This new incentive follows feedback and an increased community need for bereavement support and is part of a wider development of our Bereavement Services. Delivered from The Lodge, our newly opened bereavement centre has two dedicated therapy rooms for adult support and a welcoming and child-friendly space for young people.
In addition to one-to-one and group support, our bereavement team provide supportive listening services, Bereavement Hubs, Information Points, sessions for children and young people, and annual remembrance events. With the launch of Whispers on the Wind and our expanded facilities at The Lodge, we remain committed to ensuring that bereavement support is available to all who need it.
