Hospice Care Week 2026

This year's theme is: 'Don't leave hospice care to chance.' You can support us throughout the week by taking part in our 'Linking Our Community Together' and 'Go Blue for hospice care' campaigns.

Linking our community together

We’re inviting our supporters to write a message on one of our paper links and add it to our chain of care. You could write:

• what links you to the hospice
• what hospice care means to you
• why you believe hospice care should be there for future generations
• a general message of support for The Mary Stevens Hospice

At the end of the week, we will combine all of the links to see how far our community’s chain of care can reach around the hospice

Go blue for hospice care

Whether you take part at home, in the community or in the office, you can support us by going blue for hospice care. You could:

• donate something blue
• wear something blue
• hold a coffee morning or blue bake sale
• buy something blue from one of our shops
• ask your workplace to get involved
• start a fundraiser

By taking part in Go Blue you’re not only helping us provide hospice care today, but you’re helping us protect the future of the hospice, ensuring that people in our community will always have somewhere to turn when they need it most.
