Oh we do like to be beside the seaside… join us in the grounds of the Hospice in true British Summer Holiday style!
Calling all parents and children alike, this event will be a family extravaganza you won’t want to miss! The day will be packed with activities, stalls and fabulous entertainment for everyone to enjoy.
We’ll be kicking off the day with our famous parade, filling the streets of Oldswinford with a stream of vehicles, classic cars, floats and Hospice supporters to officially open the Fayre. There is something for the whole family!
As always, we will be firing up the Black Country famous BBQ and sweet treats will keep you fuelled all day too. We have lined up live entertainment throughout the day and ensure the stage is filled with local talent, making it the perfect way to savour the last moments of the Summer holidays.
Our much-loved Dog Show will make a grand return, showcasing the cutest, most talented, and waggiest tails in our community. Prepare for some heart-melting moments as our fluffy companions strut their stuff!
Music, laughter, and fun will fill the air as we celebrate the end of the Summer holidays together and raise much-needed funds for The Mary Stevens Hospice.
Entry fees are payable on the day:
Adults – £1, Children £2, No more than £5 per family or car
Free parking on site, including disabled parking. And a pedestrian entrance if you want to walk over!
Our Summer Fayre will occur rain or shine and The Mary Stevens Hospice rarely, if ever, cancels and event because of bad weather. Because of this policy, you will be unable to get your ticket refunded due to bad weather except in circumstances when the event is entirely cancelled by the organisers.
In a traditional ‘Country Fayre’ style, we welcome our creative, crafty community to showcase their makes in our new summer fayre Maker’s Corner.
From knitting to baking, clay modelling to origami, the choice is yours and we can’t wait to see how talented you are!
Enter your crafty creations into one, or all of our six seaside themed categories – there are certificates and ribbons for all entries and coveted rosettes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed exhibits. 🥇
Each entry into each category costs just £3.00, with every penny used to support our ongoing care.
Not forgetting our younger supporters who can enter our makers fayre free of charge in the following category, in line with the hospice’s ambitions to strategically care for our environment.
