From 7th – 10th January 2026, our brilliant team of volunteers travelled throughout the borough collecting trees from homes and businesses, saving supporters time and hassle after the festive period in return for a donation to the hospice.
Thanks to the incredible efforts of those who volunteered their time, around 1,600 trees were either collected, responsibly chipped and recycled, or replanted locally. With the use of two electric vans for collections this year, our 2026 Treecycle campaign was an important contributor to the hospice’s ongoing environmental sustainability goals.
A convenient and environmentally friendly service that raises funds for the specialist care that we give here at the hospice, Treecycle continues to be a much-loved initiative. We would like to thank everyone who booked a collection, and to our volunteers who made it all possible.
