On one of the warmest Sundays of the year, 29th June, the grounds of The Waterfront, Brierley Hill, were buzzing with excitement as families, friends and supporters came together for our Black Country Duck Race and Family Festival.
With over 3,000 rubber ducks bobbing down the water, this event raised an incredible £17,613 to help fund our work in the Black Country, caring for people with life-limiting conditions. The day was packed with fun, from live entertainment and delicious food to stalls, games and of course, the much-anticipated duck race.
Whether people bought a duck, made a donation, or simply came along to cheer on the race, the hospice is incredibly grateful for the support shown.
A big thank you goes to our sponsors, Waldrons Solicitors and Prosperity Wealth, whose support helped make the event possible.
