Teachers
Teachers, we have a favour to ask. You’ll receive some well-deserved gifts this year, but if you have any spare could you support local families with them?
You’ve worked incredibly hard and guided our young people through another year of developing into fantastic members of the community.
As a result, we know that a lot of you will receive some well-earned gifts at the end of this year and, while everyone loves 7 bottles of Bailey’s and a toblerone, we wondered if we could possibly ask you something.
If you have any spare bottles or boxes of something nice left over, could you possibly donate a couple of them to help us raise money at one of our fundraising events please?
We regularly run raffles and tombolas at our events, all of which help us to raise the £2.5 million we need to support local families every year in their hour of greatest need, and items like wine bottles are absolutely vital to us being able to do that.
It’s also what we struggle with the most, as they’re often gone as quickly as we receive them.
If you think that’s something you could do, please do pop us an email to arrange a collection or just bring them up to the Hospice Fundraising office at 221 Hagley Road, Stourbridge, DY8 2JR.
Thank you in advance for your generosity, and congratulations on another fantastic year! The job you do is invaluable, and we can’t say thank you enough for looking after our young people every day, and ensuring they achieve their potential.
Nearly there now!
