Tree of Light Ceremony

We have had to approach our usual events rather differently in 2020. So we are really pleased to be offering three distinct opportunities for people to remember loved ones and reflect on what sustains them in troubled times.

Following our first service on Saturday 21st November, the tree will remain lit until 12th night.

We are delighted to invite you, our community, to take time to remember and reflect the people that you hold dear to your heart.

SPONSOR A LIGHT 

Would you like to sponsor a light in memory of your loved one /s  on our Tree of Light but can’t attend either of our ceremonies?

Not to worry, you can sponsor a light here which will be included in our physical and digital Book of Remembrance

As always, you will be able to sponsor a light on the tree for a suggested donation of £10 per light. Your written dedication in memory of your loved one/ones, will be entered into our book of remembrance which will be available for you to request or to view online. Our Tree of Light is something that we hold very dear and your continuous support of it helps us to provide care for local families when they need us.  If you would like to dedicate a light to your loved one, you can do so by completing this form. 

HOME IN – Saturday 21st November – live on Facebook at 5pm

Those wishing to stay at home can watch as the Tree of Light is illuminated.  This will be followed by a short programme of readings, music and guided reflection, which will also be available on YouTube.

The lighting of our Tree of Light will be live on our Mary Stevens Hospice Facebook page at 5pm on Saturday 21st November.
