Children’s Grief Awareness Week 2025

This November, The Mary Stevens Hospice is honoured to support Children’s Grief Awareness Week (17th–23rd November) a dedicated time to recognise the experiences of bereaved children and young people, and to remind them that they are supported and never alone on their journey.

This year’s theme, Sharing Stories, Strengthening Hope, invites all of us to open up conversations around grief, celebrate the courage of young people facing loss, and highlight the hope that can grow through shared understanding.

We’ve created some short, focused videos that share our knowledge and experience with you. You’ll find them below, along with two videos on our social media channels that highlight the impact of our Forest School sessions. We’ve also put together a how-to craft video for creating Snakes and Ladders, which you can also watch via our social media.

And there’s more to come, so keep an eye on our social media for additional supportive content throughout the week.
