Volunteers play a vital role as part of the Hospice team. The Hospice relies on the help they can give us whether its assistance with gardening, driving, reception duties or therapists. So if you would like to help your Hospice please contact the Volunteer Co-ordinator.

Hospice volunteer wins civic award!

Image: Rosalie.jpgRosemary Pitt is the longest serving volunteer at the hospice. Since January 1992 Rosemary has volunteered two days a week in the Day Hospice, with her nursing background and many years of hands on experience she is able to give practical support to patients.

She has been voted winner of the Mayor of Dudley’s Civic awards 2010.

Rosemary would like to thank all who voted, and is very proud to accept this award on behalf of all the volunteers at the hospice.
