House Clearances

Free or Paid?

• FREE - we will collect and transport (free of charge) any items of boxed collectables, bagged clothes, and Furniture in fair condition (that we consider saleable). We are restricted legally and commercially on furniture items. This may mean that some items are not taken and you would need to dispose of these seperately, but it will certainly make a considerably good start.

• PAID - A Standard (FULL) clearance is usually charged at £320 (2010/11), this removes all items from the property you designate. We will sell what we can to raise funds for the Hospice, and the rest will be disposed of legally (which we pay for commercially). As a large skip would cost you this (without the labour) or a commercial Company can generally charge upwards of £500+, we consider this a great compromise for all parties involved.

Guidelines

• Rate above is a good guide for a standard two van clearance, however this may vary lower/higher dependant on scale of request. (Our vans are all High Roof, Long Wheelbase for maximum capacity.)

• A standard full clearance usually takes 4-5 hours.

• Standard paid clearances/collections assume clothes are bagged and ornaments boxed.

• Clearances have to be paid in full either prior to, or in cash on the day, or can be paid at our Warehouse, by card at our Stourbridge shop, or by phone to the office on 01384 860011. once cleared, we will usually be able to facilitate a clearance within 7-10 days, but please be aware that this may vary, dependant on demand.
