Go Ape for Mary Stevens Hospice!
Have you go what it takes to Go Ape for MSH?!
On Saturday 13th April, we are taking Hospice supporters to Go Ape in the Wyre Forest to take on our Tree Top Adventure challenges.
We have two challenges available:
- Tree Top Adventure: For ages 10+
- Tree Top Junior: Children aged 6-15 (children under-6 can take part but only if they are taller than 1 metre AND accompanied by a paying adult)
Tree Top Adventure (Age 10+) – Maximum 15 participants
With a total course length of 567m, a longest zip of 160m, platforms reaching 14m high and a longest crossing of 17m, this is the ultimate Tree Top challenge experience!
Minimum Age: 10+
Minimum Height: 1.4m (4ft 7”)
Maximum Weight: 20.5 stone
Children aged 10-15 years must be supervised by a participating adult (18+), one adult can supervise up to two children.
16 and 17 year olds can supervise themselves but not others.
Minimum sponsorship: Adults over 18 – £100
Minimum sponsorship: Under-18 year olds – £75
All participants reaching their minimum sponsorship target will receive a commemorative t-shirt.
Non-returnable registration fee – £5 per participant
Tree Top Junior (Age 6-15) – Maximum 20 participants
This kids’ high ropes course is loop after loop of crazy crossings and awesome obstacles. A fun-filled hour of canopy exploring, trail blazing and obstacles for all to enjoy at Wyre Forest. Their confidence will reach new heights as they spend an hour conquering wobbly bridges and awesome zip wires. Keep an eye out for the Flying Carpet on Loop 2, located above the cabin, at 10 metres high you’ll want to catch this moment on camera.
With a total course length of 338m, a longest zip of 70m, platforms reaching 10m high and a longest crossing of 18m, this is an exciting and exhilarating challenge that will give you a huge sense of achievement!
Minimum Height: 1m (3ft 3”)
Maximum Weight: 20.5 stone
Children under 6 years old (and over 1m) MUST be supervised by a paying adult. One participating adult must supervise up to a maximum of two under 6 year olds. Participating adults may not supervise from the ground.
Children 6-15 can be supervised by a non-paying adult from the ground.
