Ben Foster at the Mary Stevens Hospice

On Tuesday 7th March, we had the great pleasure of welcoming Ben Foster, Mark Naylor, Matt Webb, Andy Pountney and Andy Bullingham to the Hospice, to come and meet our patients, staff and volunteers ahead of the big Football Legends Charity Match on Sunday 2nd April!

As you can probably tell from the video, we had a really wonderful afternoon, and our thanks must go to the group for taking the time out of their incredibly hectic schedule to come and visit us – it was a real treat.

Ben was even kind enough to donate a signed WBA shirt to be sold in the big sporting auction after the charity match, in order to help raise funds for the patients and families who rely on the care of the Hospice.

It was a memory we’ll treasure for a long time, and we’re fairly sure the patients enjoyed themselves too!

Thank you Ben!
